The Fashion nails and spa salon is focused on customer satisfaction and service. Before I even entered the salon, two nail technicians stood outside and were talking to me. Before I opened the door, they greeted me and said hello. When I entered the salon, I didn’t have my name signed when one of the technicians asked me if I wanted a pedicure.
Many, if not all, of the salon’s technicians are bilingual and fluent in English and Vietnamese. Many of the nail salons I’ve visited in the United States and internationally have been run by Vietnamese immigrants. Unfortunately, many salons had technicians who could not speak or understand English. This made it difficult for me to obtain the services and answers I needed.
Questions Fashion nails and Spa:
- Hot paraffin wax treatments are offered by many full-service salons for pedicures. This service is not included in the salon’s brochure.
- My pedicure was performed by a Fashion nails and Spa technician. He only applied one coat of clear polish to my toenails, instead of two.
- My pedicure was performed by a nail technician, who didn’t ask me for my preference. Prices are also not included in the salon brochure.
- Although the salon has an active Facebook page, they don’t have a website.
Although there are a few problems with the services of this salon, their five-star rating is due to the salon’s commitment to customer service and satisfaction. (See the list below).
This salon has full-color brochures that patrons can take along as a substitute for business cards. The brochure includes contact information and business address, as well as a list of services and prices. Both appointments and walk-ins are accepted at the salon.
It appears that this high level of customer service is a result of a coordinated team effort. Even technicians who weren’t directly servicing me were kind and helpful. After I had finished my deluxe pedicure, the technician was already running water before I got to sit down. Another technician asked me what I wanted for my complimentary beverage. I had brought a can of fountain soda with me so I didn’t open it when it was handed to me.
The Fashion nails and spa technician assisted me in moving my things to the table so I could get my full manicure. She also opened the can of soda and filled my soda bottle with it.
The Fashion nails and spa & Spa offers a variety of beverages, including red and green wines by the glass or bottle, champagne and mimosas, Smirnoff coolers and a range of beers (including light beers), canned and bottled sodas, and bottled water. All the beverages can be found on the brochure’s outside. Customers who order a Deluxe pedicure ($35.00), receive a complimentary beverage of your choice.
Although this is my first review of the nail salon, I have been there several times before. I noticed that the owner invests in the building every two to four years. During my recent visit, I saw what looked like wallpaper covering the large windows in front. When I got inside, however, I discovered that these were window tints that the owner had installed recently.
